|
|
What is the fastest method for getting to Incheon Airport from Seoul Station? I have a flight out of Incheon on Friday evening and getting there from Daegu after work is really cutting time close so I need to save time as much as possible.
Thanks for your help! |

Subway to Gimpo Airport and the AREX to Incheon would be my method. I would try to avoid taking the express bus on Friday. Traffic will be a nightmare. |

trouble is, there is no subway that goes direct form Seoul Station to ICN.
Take the express bus from Seoul Station. It'd take an hour and a half tops. |

Here's another idea:
Take KTX to Gwangmyeong, short of Seoul (although not all KTX calls at Gwangmyeong), and catch 6004 airport limo bus from the station. It'll run on Highway 110 all along non-stop to ICN, via new Incheon Bridge, hence it's a shortcut compared to advancing all the way to Seoul only to head back out all the way to the west. |

Thanks for the suggestions! What exactly is the AMEX? What is your estimation on time using that method? |

AREX is the airport express train. It takes 30 minutes from Gimpo Airport to Incheon. To get to Gimpo from Seoul Station on the subway involves a transfer, which (as someone else mentioned) might be a bit awkward. You'd have to transer from Line 1 to Line 5 (probably at Singil). Maybe take a taxi from Seoul Station to Gongdeok Station (Line 5), and then subway from there.
I think Jake_Kim's suggestion is the best one. |

Why not take a bus from Daegu directly to the airport? You might save a little time, and it'd certainly be easier. |
