| Hi all, I will be moving to Daegu in November. Does anybody know of any amateur rugby clubs in the area. I don't play to a massively good standard but would like to continue playing whilst in Korea. Thanks. |

there is a team in Deagu. I've seen them playing up here in Daejeon.
Level of ruggar not high, although the teams are sponsored by the major companies (samsung Posco etc). I think most NZ highschool teams would run up a score.
Got the feeling the locals are not interested in any waegook involvement. |

| Just so you know, Gumi is not part of Daegu. It is another city, but it is quite close. |

The level of Rugby is pitiful, even their national team. I've watched them 
On Geoje, the local Korean players (Samsang workers) wouldn't even practice against us, these were Engineers as well not College students.
I agree with the above poster, it does actually appear that they don't want any form of western involvement. |

| I don't know much about Rugby but I watched Korea vs. Japan back in the spring in Gyeongsan(where I live) and it was awful. Korea was demolished. Japan had a lot of foreign(not Japanese) players and it got ugly. |
