My apologies but this is hilarious! |
It is hilarious looking back on it. The guy was desparate not to be arrested or whatever and he told them that he could prove that I was his wife because I had a tattoo. I actually do not have any tattoos. That particular combination of pain and committment never appealed to me that much. |

Was the "guy" a 5th grader or do you actually weigh a lot more than the average Korean guy? Girl, I don't care if you know Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or whatever, but it's hard to believe you strong-arming a Korean male, who most likely went through military training. As shoddy as their training may be, I'd still put money down that it's more extensive than your own training/knowledge on self-defense. |

| It was a 40-something drunk ajossi. His being drunk helped. I'm small, but they teach defense to women in BJJ before anything else. |

Perhaps the Korean dude read your responses on the Student Loan thread, NYC. Do you think that's possible? |

What was that Greek legend about the sirens perched on rocks whose 'come hither'-ness caused subsequently stunned- as- a- mullet sailors to steer into said rocks? |

Don't worry....it just means you're attractive and 'shek-si'.
I get stared at a lot by Korean men too.......are they all gay? Or maybe just curious about foreigners and lacking a lot in manners... |
There, fixed that for you. |

Definitely noticed a downturn in behavior. I think it starts with the teenagers. They're all picking up the K-Pop sexy act and starting to get more adventurous in public with each other. Meanwhile befuddled Jo Kim Ajosshi thinks that such an act is fine and dandy only he has this sense of entitlement to pull it off on strangers.
If I was a woman I'd certainly be keeping my guard up these days. |

Some guy said "woah-oh!" to my chest as I got on the bus yesterday. It was weird, he spoke right into my chest as I walked by. I was wearing a sports bra under a little tank top, though... I was on my way to my favorite rural jogging spot.
Interesting discussion, but I still feel safe... even jogging out in the semi-boonies after dusk, wearing my "whoa-oh" jogging top. |
