| Going to Busan for Chuseok. Is it a terrible idea to just turn up and try and find a love motel? Will they all be booked or will Koreans be staying at the family house? What dya think. Any other cool idea for Chuseok would be appreciated. What are you doing? |

| You'll be able to find a motel easily, but keep in mind that if you're coming down from Seoul, the trip could take twice as long as usual because of traffic. Try to buy a train ticket today if you're planning on leaving on Tuesday. |

Yeah I would hurry up and get a KTX ticket, they will probably sell out.
Koreans usually stay in a "condo" when they visit Busan. It's basically like a timeshare type thing that is rented out like a hotel.
I don't think the love motels will be all that full as Chuseok is more of a "family" holiday. |

| There are tons of Love Motels down here. Especially since the beach season is over. Haeundae should have a ton. Easy access to the subway there to get around. Your tmoney card should even work on there. My mybi card works in Seoul. Most teachers have the week off and I know a few who are hanging around town. Should make the Kyungsung area quite lively enough. |

| If you want more central than the beach, the chinatown always has some pretty rooy and well kitted outmotel rooms for 25,000. Right accross from the train station and near the subway. |

Umm...I'd say definitely no to China town. Busan station isn't really a great area.
Go for Haeundae. It's where you wanna be anyway! |

| you can even catch a Saemaul directly from Seoul Station to Haeundae. If you are lucky it will be the one that loops from Gyeongju out to the coast and down towards Haeundae Station. The coastal scenery out there is pretty cool. |

Last time I went to Busan the Seoul T-Money cards didn't work for the Busan Subway. That was in 2009 though, it might have changed since then. |

| In my experience, (and excuse me for sounding like a grandma), the machines can be finicky. Sometimes they like Myibi in Seoul, and sometimes T Money in Busan. It really seems to depend on the days and the type of machine/card you have. |

| My Busan card used to not work on the Seoul subway and now it does, so they may have synched the systems in the last year or two. |
