I let my boss borrow my laptop last week while his was in the shop. He apparently used it to write an email to a competitor offering to sell the school. Some logistical specifics were included (including an asking price), but he was nice enough to say that he would "take the best offer you can get me."

Unfortunately for him, he left this file open on my desktop. I shared it with my coworkers and we're a bit peeved, to say the least. He told us everything was A-OK with our jobs and that he wasn't selling the place (i.e. blatantly lied). To make matters worse, the person he's contacting runs several other blacklisted hagwons in the area.

Anyway, I suppose I'm looking for advice on how to handle this situation. Should I confront him about said email or just quietly start putting plan B in order? I've only been here 2 months, so I won't be able to transfer my visa until late December/early January.

I'm a bit irked, but I knew I was running the risk of getting screwed the second I agreed to work for a hagwon.

Just cause he is offering to sell doesn't mean he will be able to sell.

Order new documents now (plan for the worst and hope for the best).
