Korea�s first Herbal and Oriental Medicine Bio-expo Kicks Off!

Korea�s first Herbal and Oriental Medicine Bio-expo in Jecheon (Sept 16 � Oct 16) has kicked off its 1 month run promising a plethora of natural remedies, sights, sounds, smells hands on many hands on activities.

The opening event was held in the lush Bio Valley next to Jecheon city which holds the massive expo. During the event with one ticket you will be able to experience free remedies, ancient therapies, herbal medicines, acupuncture, massage, health checks, talk to experienced practitioners from Korea and all over the world. There is also so much more to see and do including visiting museums on site, making herbal crafts, watching performances, visiting the numerous gardens, eating at on site restaurants, attending workshops, experiencing the maze and hanging out at the herb fair.

Please also remember that there are still seats left on the free buses running from Seoul to Jecheon (just two hours travelling distance). They are filling up fast but there are still seats left and plenty in the coming weeks. Please visit the official Bio-expo blog to get more details:

I've been planning on going to this. Tho, good thing you posted about the free buses. I didn't know about that tid-bit of info.

If you go, it's worth checking out the Danyang caves, less than an hour away by bus. The town of Danyang is tiny (much smaller than Jecheong) but the caves are amazing.
