Anyone ever gone from Seoul to Incheon airport the day before Chuseok? I need to be at the airport before 7am Tuesday so I was thinking of getting a taxi from Gwanghwamun at 5. Is that too late? It usually takes less than an hour. Would the airport bus get me there quicker? (Normally I'd stay at the airport jjimjilbang but I need to be in Gwanghwamun on Monday night.)
I know the Seoul-Busan expressway will be a nightmare but I'm hoping not many Koreans use ICN at Chuseok.

Just catch the airport bus. 50k cheaper and just as fast as a cab.
5am will be fine to be there by 7 (you mean 7am check-in time and not flight time?).

Thanks ttompatz - great advice as always.
In case anyone's interested, the airport road was deserted at 6am the morning before Chuseok. I guess I was just being paranoid. |
