My ipod touch always connects to 'hpsetup' in most stations and even while I'm on the train. It's an open network, but never works. It doesn't even have a login screen if you try going through safari. Anyone know anything about this? It would make subway rides a little more entertaining.

always? I've never seen that on the subway. it's a default name for certain accesspoints.

I've once or twice caught it in an above group subway station that was beside some offices (as in very close)

if you want wifi on the subway for your touch, pick up a Wibro Egg, you'll get wifi anywhere in seoul. Subway, bus, on the sidewalk, down by the river. Whatever you want.
