Very spacious 1 bedroom officetel in the Yongsan Park Xi Apartment building. It is a corner room, so it is very big. We moved in in February, but need to break our contract early for personal reasons so are looking for someone to sign over to.

The bedroom is separated by sliding doors, and has huge windows that allow a lot of sunlight. It has a built in ceiling A/C, a washer/dryer, big refrigerator, and lots of counter space and cabinet space. The bedroom has a storage area and 2 huge built in closets.

The bathroom has a glass shower, tons of counter space, and a full-size sink.

The lobby has a business center/desk that receives and holds packages and they contact you when packages arrive (great for people who like to shop online or need heavy things shipped). They just sign for everything, and send you a message when you have a package waiting.

It is 20 mil key money, 1.3 mil a month. Depending on the key money, you could pay a bit more, and get your monthly rent dropped.

It is a bit expensive, but very worth it~ It is a nice high rise, and has many amenities IN the building.
Family Mart open 24 hours in the lobby
dry cleaner
pet store/grooming
few small eating places
- paninis, Vietnamese/Thai restaurant, Italian restaurant.

There is a very nice gym on the 2nd floor for tenants. The 2nd floor also has a very nice garden area with a fountain and tons of greenery and benches to sit on and hang out on nice days. The ground floor has a really big patio where you can have barbecues or just hang out.

Here is the BEST part saved for last: the subway station Line 4 and 6 are less than a minute walk from the building (literally right outside the building). The first picture is a picture taken from the exit of the subway station.

Would you say a couple could live in that apartment COMFORTABLY?

It would be nice if you could tell us the actual size of the place. More pics of the inside would be good too.

It is 30 pyeong.

My girlfriend and I live here now. It's comfortable enough. The living room is big enough for a couple of sofas...There's a separate kitchen and bedroom, and the bedroom has 2 separate built-in closets, as well as a ton of storage space.

It depends on how much space you need from your partner. You can slide the doors close and be alone in the bedroom, and there's enough room so that you're not always on top of one another.

hmmm...That's what the real estate agent said yesterday. They have a chart with all of the different sized officetels, and ours is listed as 30pyeong. Maybe it's including the closets/bathroom/storage space? It is bigger than it appears in the photos..

My husband and I actually looked at that same Xi building and the way that they calculate pyeong makes it seems much bigger. The way that is was explained to me is that you only get 60% of the pyeong as livable space. So for the 30 pyeong that you pay for you only 18 pyeong of that 30 is the livable space. Pretty messed in my opinion. However, it's a really sweet building and very centrally located. If we had had more for a down payment I think we would have lived there. The gym is really nice and it's only 2K won a visit. Super cheap. Great restaurants and you can get to anywhere in Seoul from all the buses outside.

I was going to guess 15. Big, for a one room.

Are there any extra costs per month? Building fees per pyeong?

Our monthly bill is around 180,000, and that includes everything - including maintenance, guards' fees, etc) except for the gas. We ran our A/C around 20 hours a day this summer, so the electricity is spread out among all of the officetels.

In the winter, we never really used the heater very often since the rooms around us (above/below) used theirs, and it kept us pretty warm.
