I am all registered. Have a domestic check card. When I go to check out, the radio box I need isn't highlighted (Real time account transfer, I believe). I went through this with my coteacher, both the english and korean versions, and after 2 hours I was ready to bang my head against the wall. Is there a better way to do this? I tried to use gcash, but it says it can only be used to pay for shipping on items and not the actual item itself. The only thing I can think of is using a foreign card, but I have to make some room on it and that sounds like a pain when I have a ton of money sitting in won right now. |

Use the option where you pay via transfer or whatever thats called. In the morning, go to the ATM and transfer the cash that way.
I think you may need to set up online banking with your bank if you want to pay online without a credit card, but I might be wrong. Too bad gmarket removed the paypal option recently. |

I just use my foreign visa, but next to that, this is probably the easiest way if you're a foreigner. |

don't the international transfer fees (to pay off the overseas credit card) bug you? |

Foreign credit card is easy if you don't have a domestic credit card.
KEB is 8,000 won to send money over, then my PC Financial account is free to pay off my MasterCard (which I'd assume would be true for any chequing account to credit card transfer). |

If you live here and use gmarket a lot (or even occasionally) then get the virtual personal account number, transfer a decent chunk of cheddar to it and use it up as you go. can have any balance remaining transferred back to you whenever you want.
best way to ensure fast delivery too, i made 3 orders last thurs and 2 arrived on fri. |

i don't use my foreign visa too often, but i have a small chunk of money in my checking account back home to pay off my visa whenever i use it. the only time i really use it is online and that's not too often. |

I gave up and just used my visa from back home. Get this Korea, I leave my fan on all night and I don't use over the top internet security for my purchases. |
