Hello Everyone Smile

This is niCk, director of said cheesy over-acted terribly titled Demon Film! Fear Eats The SEEEEOOOOUUUULLLLLLLLL

OOOOHHHHHOOOOooOOOOoOHHHhhHHHHOOHOHOH!

I first want to thank Ryan, of whom I have zero relations with, for posting up news on my feature debut. I have worked very hard on it and still am at the moment.

And I am so happy that you found it interesting enough to post something about it and help me spread the word. It really made my day. Smile

Now I would like to clear some things up:

Yes I am funding it myself i.e. the budget is very small.. TINY! Yes its about four English teachers who survive a demon epidemic. Yes we do need extras for a demon chase scene on October 2nd. Yes youll probably be able to find it as a torrent online in the coming months. Yes I would love for you to watch it and love it or hate it. Yes YES YES YES Im making a movie. And THATS really the only important thing.

Those who are down with me... Thank you so much and I will not let you down! Everyones gotta start somewhere and this is not going to be the last film I make I can promise you that. So as I keep on moving forward I cant wait for you guys to check my films out as I grow and mature as a filmmaker.

Those who are (Up?) with me... well lets just say to each their own. You spent your time to post on it and I thank you for that time. You saw the teaser and thats all I ever wanted =] Thank you so much! And I do hope you will take the time to find it one day and watch it with some friends while smoking pot and making fun of every three minutes! Very Happy

The overwhelming support and defense from my surrounding community here abroad in Korea is a wonderful sign that there really are great individuals living here who support a base for artists and entertainers alike to keep living their dreams.

ASAH!!^^

Why are there so many negative people on this board? I get sick of all the bad energy here.

I'm not into zombie movies, but it is cool that someone is doing something besides sitting around drinking soju.

Just wondering why all the guys are white? Lots of gyopo guys teaching English in Korea. For being a zombie flick in Korea, I would imagine a Korean looking male would have some meaningful part in the movie.

I just noticed that from the trailer. Maybe there is a Korean guy in there with a big part. I don't know.

I LOVE zombie movies, even the cheesy indie movies that have come out lately (has anyone ever seen the 2006 remake of Night of the Living Dead?).
I hope it gets posted online asap so I could watch it.

The only thing that really gives me any doubts is the trailer- it was extremely amateurish and looked like something a bunch of hogwon teachers would've made during their breaktime to compete in Romero's Diary of the Dead shorts competition back in '07.

I am not expecting much, just a lot of zombies.

Good luck and who knows- this might become a new cult classic.

Hey Fearseoul,

As a film major I'd like to say: Good on you for doing this!!
I think it's friggin awesome that you are making a movie. Ignore the naysayers. Let their movies speak for themselves.

Good luck, I hope to see your movie soon!

I don't like zombie movies and I don't plan on seeing this movie, but I do admire the sheer coolness of a person making a movie just because he wants to. No matter how crappy it is, not everybody can say they made a movie.

Hey man I applaud your efforts. Friend and myself have been writing a very similar movie. We want to shoot it in the snow this winter.

Please provide us with a torrent of this I'm looking forward to seeing it, I'll be happy to seed it for a week or so.

But I must say, the title is pretty terrible and I recommend changing it.

Were you shooting with a Canon 20D?

I've been here 4 years and can't say I've met many jerks. Where do you guys hang out so I never go there? Oh wait, at home, on your computer being negative and sad. Have fun. Rolling Eyes

Good luck to the film maker and all that are involved. I'm not into zombie movies but will check this one out for sure since it's a local effort. Pretty cool stuff.

Thanks a bunch for the support! It was shot on a rebel t2i/550D. I dont know much about torrent seeding etc but as soon as I figure it out DEFINITELY passing it your way!

As for the title, I have learned that some will love it hate it or find it just retarded lol. But I have to stick to my convictions and why I chose the name. Its honoring something within myself that wont get an explanation. It just is what it is. So Im gonna own it. BUT if u have any suggestions for titles about a demon horror film in Seoul please throw em out there and if it clicks I might actually change it. Im flexible.

But for now you might have to just avoid the title card wen viewing, sorry! :p

Good luck with your film. And I look forward to checking it out!!^^

Thats a good point. But actually one of the main two leads is a gyopo. He just doesnt look very Korean. The film is looking mostly through the eyes of foreigners living in Korea, theres a lead Korean Female in it. Does she not count?

Thanks for checking it out~! And for the very valid questions.
