McNulty and Bunk's investigation of the "tap tap tap" crime scene in which they only utter various F bombs to each other as they work out what happened... Laughing

Big thumbs up on Breaking Bad...my favorite show running right now. Walt's character development from a timid, mousy pushover to a reluctant cutthroat is wonderful.

Its akin to Vito Corleone's rise as well.

What is also interesting is that McNulty and Springer Bell are English actors. There is one scene though were McNulty goes back to his Sheffield, England accent.

Interesting note about The Sopranos is that the creator wanted Steven van Zandt, Silvio, to be Tony Soprano.

Young urban youth " This is the ghetto mother effer, it's all the po'house around here."

Stevie Van Sant was a great Silvio but no one could be Tony better than Gandolfini. Stevie wouldn't have been even 50% the Tony that Gandolfini was...

Like others, favorite scene: fbomb with Mcnulty and Bunk.

Favorite actor: Lester - absolutely the best.

Lately, it's easier for me to just toss an episode of The Sopranos on and fall asleep.

Not saying it's a better show, but for me, the nightly replay value is higher.

Wow. You guys have time to re-watch shows this long over and over again? I find myself overwhelmed by how much media I try to keep up with. There's always some new show to be watching, music to be discovering, or game to be playing.

When I'm about to pass out, I need something that I'm familiar with on television. I only watch them right before I go to sleep. Other than that, I find myself not wanting to sit through a whole movies lately. I only have the attention span for maybe half of a movie.
