For the DVD player:
What, exactly, does the USB do? Does it provide for an external hard drive and play media via that? What types of media are supported? What's the model of the player?

FWIW, more info usually leads to more sales.

I was really hoping for the impulse buyer... Oh well,..

Sorry, I never got to use it much, so am unfamiliar with particular features.

LG DV 382 ...says on the box that it plays windows media and DivX.

I played my Mp3 through it, although I never figured out how to manipulate the playlists very well.

Hope that helps.
