Dude. It's no joke. Think of it as a newsflash.
Despite the fact that Korean teachers still beat the living 5h!t out of their students, we the Western English teachers are still the immoral beings.
Just think about it.

Geesh! A little more web-surfing and, surprise-surprise, the outstanding mystery of this thread has lastly been solved.
=> Why did the original article, this thread was initially about, suddenly disappear from the website of Academic Leadership?

The original article now at ERIC:
http://www.eric.ed.gov/ERICWebPortal/search/recordDetails.jsp?searchtype=keyword&pageSize=10&ERICExtSearch_SearchValue_0=jambor&eric_displayStartCount=1&ERICExtSearch_SearchType_0=kw&_pageLabel=RecordDetails&objectId=0900019b8042b7ed&accno=ED511524&_nfls=false

The answer to the mystifying riddle of why the Academic Leadership article all of a sudden disappeared lies in the following link. It's a must read gals and blokes. It all seems to be built on a true anti-American/Westerner fairytale. We, the Westerners; the Americans, the immoral beings so much in the wrong:

In real short - the creator of the thread (linked just above) simply blames Westerners, and especially Americans, for 90-99% of all the problems associated with foreigners in Korea due to our lack of understanding of Korean culture. It's ALL OUR FAULT, or so it's being said.

Ladies and Blokes, the thing that surfaced its ugly head is that American Leadership has removed the article at the whim of a biased racist (or shall we just call him an anti-American). Just read the link if you're confused about all of this. You'll see what I mean.

The moderator and the creator /surely one and the same/ of the thread surely think that ATEK (Association for Teachers of English in Korea) and everyone associated to it are real evil people. They don't seem to think much more of Western English teachers either, judging by their posts. Gently Note: North Americans are really unimpressive in their eyes. This is bordering on hate propaganda.
This is supposed to be a Christian site. Oh wait! It seems to be operated out of Korea. Go figure.
