Hey everyone,
I just started my Public school job today (yay)!
I spent 1.5 years at a hogwon and just couldn't take the crazy hours or building responsibilities with the decline in my prep.
I'm wondering if anyone could suggest or link me to some great resources for public school as everything seems so specific. I'm teaching grades 3~6
Thanks in advance!

Check out Barry's Fun English. It costs 15 bucks a year, I think, and is loaded with materials to supplement your own. |

Welcome Tara!
I second the advice on BarryFunEnglish- its saved me many a day )
You should know that Korean teachers have a Daum cafe called KEPIK where they share all the open class materials- it is really good but I don't think they allow foreigner access. Get your co-teach to supply you with their user/pass and download as much as you can
Another website, EBSe, has tons of movies, you may need some assistance navigating- but you can register for free and show a short story to the kids if they've been good |

EFL classroom ning. just do the yahoo search I don't have the link handy.
Good activities include Baam, Fling the teacher, there's also a great text message game.
Karafuns and Youtube are good for Karaoke video's. |
