| Anyone know a good place to get wedding rings around Seoul? I hear jewelry is cheaper in Korea than the US, is this true? |

For a plain gold band it is about the same as the US.
For diamond jewelry it is more expensive.
The best place (most shops) is just to the east of the YMCA in Jongno. (Jongno sam ga? if I remember correctly.)
If you want something with precious gems, it will pay to take a weekend trip to Hong Kong. The money you save on the jewelry will pay for the get-a-way. Make sure you go to a licensed shop and stay away from the touts on the street around Tsim Sha Tsui.
