I just want to know if there's anything special with food. That HiSeoul food court back in May was in the same general area and it was done very well. I just want to know if this food court area will be the same. If yes, then this is worth checking out.

im happy to see things like this and more often. there is ALOT less anti-nipponism nowadays compared to maybe 5 years ago. capitalism triumphs!

even abc mart and the like are disguising themselves as korean companies, well in the commercials they make it seem like theyre local. smart, like tesco and homeplus.

This should be fun,I just went to the Korean Festival Here in Atanta.

The best part is the dynasty costume show.

Japan Fest was held in a seperate venue on a seperate weekend.

I am surprised they are doing these together.

I too am really happy to see this festival being done. It is about time this anti-Japanese crap goes the way of the buffalo. Yeah, it was a problem--colonialism always is--but that was then and this is now. I have heard way too many primary school kids tell me they hate Japan--though they have now idea why.

Should be fun and I am looking forward to seein some Sumo wrestling
and maybe getting some decent udon and ramen.

I was there today. The rain seems to be holding down the crowds. It is divided into two groups of booths about two blocks apart. The booths around city hall are for games and tourism. The booths at the stream have the food and it is GOOD. They did have sushi and small plastic bento boxes with rice, fish, and vegetables for 2,000-4,000 won around Noon, and they were selling very well. Hopefully they won't sell out. There were also some fried fish on sticks but sojusucks prefers sushi.

It was smaller than I thought it would be. Maybe their just going through the motions of pretending they like each other. But at least the two countries are trying to get along.
