What have you noticed about the locals attitude towards you? Also do you speak Korean?

Varies from intense interest to complete indifference; mostly the latter. No hostility if that's what you're worried about but I speak Korean. I heard that Koreans can be critical towards Korean-Americans who can't.

Yeah, I don't speak Korean as well as I use to. I know a Korean kid who was born and raised in Mexico and he gets a few looks here. He only speaks Spanish. I wonder how people in Korea react to a Korean that doesn't speak the language.

I arrived in Korea a few months ago, and no one has been openly hostile/rude towards me yet. Some people are fascinated by me and others don't really care. I think that people may react differently depending on which area you are in and how well you speak Korea.

How do you identify yourself,as more Korean or more Western?

What are your expectations for your Korean life?

How do things such as family obligation, marriage, and career pan out?

Do gyopo girls have less expectations from thier familes as far as marriage goes?
