While there may be new opportunities for those making offense plays, these new opportunities are being created by locals, not foreigners, locals such as Korean entreprenuers in Korea though the American franchise sells the business plan. This is not where I, an American, flies over there to rule their world with my American stores pushing a culture of obesity. If Asian countries have all this American stuff, it's because their local elite decided it was time everyone gets involved in the great burger and taco challenge. If you want traditional cultural experiences, avoid tiger economies like the plague. |

pffffft. i might agree if it were a taco bell opening up somewhere other than seoul, south korea. |

| Since Taco Bell is hot food, I think ultimately it has better penetration potential in China. Anyway, KFCs in the urban cities in China seem to have reached their saturation point. And McDonalds get tiresome fast. |

What do you mean by "hot" food? Koreans eat plenty of spicy food, and as for food that's heated...I don't really get it.
I think Korea's not a bad choice since recently they've been traveling so much. I think more Koreans per capita know what a taco is. |

I don't recall any Taco Bell food items to ever be spicy at all when you receive it. It only gets hot when you add their sauce.
So maybe TheHappy is talking about temperature...? Confused. |
