I thought I've heard I can take care of that AFTER I arrive in Korea, and it is not a necessary document for obtaining the E-2 visa. Guess I'm just coming here for reassurance.

It's needed for your ARC, correct? And it's kind of up to the school or for your own convenience to get one...?

I'm applying for my E-2 tomorrow- just want to make sure I have everything.

You need the medical check done within 90 days AFTER arriving in Korea in order to get your ARC card. Your school will set it up for you, or you have to leave the country after those 90 days are over.

So no, you don't need it when applying for your E-2 before you arrive Smile
