I'm pretty much an idiot when it comes to technology, but I'm interested in getting into video production to document my travels. Nothing too serious. Would like to make youtube videos: splice video clips, insert pictures, add music.
I'm interested in making videos like these:

Would a Macbook and the Video Maker suffice?

Any mid-range computer/laptop with the video editing software of your choice would suffice. |

Most Macbooks come with iMovie installed, which is what I used for over 100 movies. It's great. |
