Meet Mink.
She is a pretty kitty who has spent some time in a shelter waiting for someone to give her a nice warm home. I took her out of the shelter a week ago and have been been fostering her since. Though I'd start now to find her a good home.

Picture can be seen here:

About Mink

Breed : Long-hair

Appearance: Blue eyes, silver fur. She has long hair, but right now she's been shaved (her hair was getting matted Sad )

Sex : Female

Spayed : Yes.

Age : 4 - 5 years old

Size : Small - she is not a super big cat, especially now that currently she has very short fur!

Behaviour/Personality : She loooves soft places. One of her favourite places is to curl up on my bed. She likes to be petted, and will butt her head up against your hand. She is fine with being picked up to be moved, but not sure how keen she would be to be held just yet. She's friendly. She has only been at my place a short while but she's already comfortable enough with me to perch on my leg when I'm on the computer. She does like to knead with her paws, though.

She knows how to use a litter box, and although she does "talk" sometimes she is a pretty quiet kitty.

Poor Mink ended up in the shelter through no fault of her own. Her first "owner" had to move and just gave her away, and after that her life just went downhill and she ended up in a shelter, sharing a cage with another cat where she was unhappy and wasn't able to keep her fur in tip top shape.

She is looking for a forever home with someone who will never let her be abandoned again.

There is a 50,000 Won adoption fee to be donated to help other cats at the shelter.

If you are interested, have questions, or would like to visit her, give me a shout on here.

Mink is located on Jeju-do, but it's not hard to get to via ferry or plane. I hope that doesn't scare potential adopters away, I'm willing to work things out so she gets the best home she can!

Awww. Even shaved, she looks really adorable. I wish, I wish, I wish. Good luck finding her a home. If Korea was MY forever home, or if I was leaving to my own country after Korea, I would make her my kitty!

thanks mmstyle, you're right. she is pretty adorable.
She has this habit of curling up behind my sholder while I'm at my computer.
If I turn around to look at her, she instantly begins to purr. I think she was starved for attention at the shelter, and is making up for it now.
She's make a great companion.

In the shelter Mink was exposed to numerous barking dogs, so dogs don't really phase her. She is not scared of my dog, although my dog doesn't especially like her. She is not oblivious to that fact and doesn't get in my dog's face about it, though.

She's so cute it breaks my heart, but I already have a cat here and another one at home with my mother. I really hope that you find her a loving and responsible person who will take her home forever. She's clearly a treasure!

Mink is still looking for a good home. Her fur is growing out after being shaved, so now it's not like touching a buzz cut when you pet her :p

Mink has her own soft carrier (which she really likes) which will be good for travel. She has developed a taste for small pieces of apple. She is good at amusing herself, but will also curl up beside you if you sit on the bed to read a book. She is excellent when left home by herself while you are at work, and she will greet you at the door when you return (that is, unless you caught her taking a nap).

I am hopeful that she will find a good home, but in the meantime she'll chill out behind my shoulder while I'm on the computer.
