Has anyone seen this shop yet? It's in Apgujeong, near the end of Rodeo Street. Kinda interesting, and a good place to get a present for a girlfriend. |

Is this place still around? I'm having trouble finding information on it. |

Aw, I love build-a-bear. If I had known they had one in Korea, I would've went to make on for my nephew (and probably for myself).
The one thing though is that the price adds up (in Canada at least); you choose the bear, then typically you want to get some sort of article of clothing for the bear.
I think you can also hold birthday parties for children as well (well, have them make bears there anyway). I imagine you must be able to get a discount price for a group. Again, I don't know if it's like that in Korea as well. |

As of December, there was one inside the Lotte mall in Jamsil. Sorry, that's the best info I can give - took me awhile to find it once I got inside.
That stuff is like crack for the ladies. Can't think of a gift, just go there. |

I can't imagine how Build A Bear could go out of business in Korea. |

I'm curious about this too. Can anyone confirm that the shop is still open? |

South Korea is not responding for me. Maybe it'll work for someone else?

There was one in Seohyeon in Bundang that closed about 4 years ago. Went in a few times and noticed that all people wanted to do was look around. Nobody bought anything. |

I recall the one in Jamsil (couldn't remember the location until it was mentioned by another poster). I just remembered it the other day so I wanted to look into it.
I also think it would do very well here; I was thinking of taking my girlfriend there. I'd go scout it out, but I want to avoid going there twice. (It's far and I don't think I could handle an extra dose of squeals of '귀엽다!'). I had trouble with their website, like another poster.
I did stumble across this blog. I can't really understand it, nor can i copy it into a translator. Any help? It's dated August 2010. http://blog.naver.com/myryang?Redirect=Log&logNo=80116154067 |

Sorry, the store at Jamsil's Lotte Mall closed down a few months ago and is now a sports store. I got a bear for my nephew there last year and then picked up a few outfits at 1/2 price earlier this year. Lots of people browsing but not many buyers. |
