I know that E2 (language teacher) visa holders are now required by Korean immigration to take medical exams, but not E1(professor) visa holders.
Do any of you holding E1 visas have to take a med exam [i]for your university?[/i(not for immigration) ]If so, do you have to also submit to HIV and drug tests? Also, are Korean professors at your school required to take these tests also? |

All professors and lecturer's are required to take a physical at my uni. I don't believe they did a drug screening, but I do know I was tested for HIV.
My previous uni req'd everyone to do it annually.
Of course these exams were all paid for by the uni. They weren't cheap, either. Upwards of 350,000 per exam. |
