|
|
Just bought myself a new notebook. I'm very satisfied with it, but I want a German (or English) OS on it, rather than the Korean version of Windows 7 Home Premium.
Do you know whether I can download the German (or English) version and use the serial number on the notebook to activate it?
Does anyone know of a clean image of Win 7 Home Premium 32 bit on one of the torrent sites? Can't find one for the life of me.
Thanks in advance for any pointers. |

I'm not gonna search for you but my advice, if you want a German version, check on a German torrent site.
I found impossible to find Korean version of Windows on English websites. |

My guess is he doesn't have Win7 Ultimate. All other versions don't get that privilege.
My other guess is, with Win7 HP you won't be able to get German. Language options are locked (by region) (My choices were English Spanish and French I believe for a NA laptop). There's a very good chance the keys are region encoded as well. It's worth a shot though. |

what brand? download a torrent of the OEM CD for that specific brand. They're usually based on hardware and will automatically activate. |

You might have to get the 'Ultimate' package. There's a video on UTube showing how to change the languages to any one you want. If you have the right version of Windows 7, you can download any foreign lang support. |

Go here: http://www.froggie.sk/
Despite the name works as well for W7. Turns Korean Windows into the US-EN version in seconds. ANy other languages you need, just click the links to the language packs on the site, then follow the instructions. |

You must get Windows 7 Ultimate and do a Windows Update where you can select optional update language packs. |

The link I gave above works well with every version of Windows 7 and Vista. |
