Here is a REALLY cool search feature! We all know that the search tool here blows big time. Well, here is a neat solution that only take a few seconds to implement.

This allows you to add a google search engine to your search engine list in Firefox that will search only ESL cafe Korean Forums.

1) Go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3682 and install this plugin.

2) Go to http://www.google.com/cse/home?cx=017533085494576982167:viirjoto5h0 then right click in the search box that you see on that page.

3) Select "add to search bar" from the drop down menu. You're done!

4) Now you have your own Firefox custom built google search engine that searches the Korean Forums.

Sweet huh?

Nice. I did a similar thing by creating a custom Google quick search and adding the "site:forums.eslcafe.com/korea/" term to the location.

Try this bookmarklet to search any site instantly.

Go to this website and drag the "Google Web Search" bar into your toolbar. Then just click the link anytime for an instant search of any site.

I usually just use google and add the "site:siteaddress.com" qualifier to my search. For example, to search for "netbooks" on eslcafe, you would type: "netbooks site:eslcafe.com". If you want to restrict that to the Korean forums, you could type "netbooks site:eslcafe.com/korea". If you are running chrome as your browser, you can just type that in the address bar and it'll bring up the Google search results. Otherwise, you can type that in the Google search box, toolbar, or Google web site itself.

Hey folks, I built a better search: http://searchESLCafe.com

You can even put stuff before the url to search for it, such as http://cats.searcheslcafe.com

or, for multiple words, just_separate_them_with_underscores.

For example, you could try

http://search_feature.searcheslcafe.com
