i'm thinking of taking my g/f there for our anniversary and wondering if anyone has ever eaten there? I know the meals are over priced...but you're paying for the view essentially right. I'm wondering is there a time limit on your seats? OR can you sit and drink wine for an hour or so before eating? |

We had all the time we wanted, but JAYSUS it was expensive. You basically have 2 or 3 set choices on the menu. I didn't even drink alcohol and my bill just for myself was 90,000. Oh, and that wonderful view was completely wiped out by fog/smog. |

Yeah, well I was drinking Cokes. Turns out refills aren't free - 7,000 a pop! Granted, this was 2 years ago. |

4 years ago I paid 18,000 won for a grapefruit juice there. Meals plus said juice plus wine came to 242,000won. The view is good, but better value can be found elsewhere. Your gf would probably rather spend the money saved on eye-cream or boots or something. |

It was 4,000 won for a can of Dr Pepper the last time I was there. The food prices are also very high. |

Set meals from 25-45k per person.
Drinks are 6k and up (depending on what you are drinking).
Plus your lift tickets. (10k per person if I remember right).
The view is usually OK but can be down to "0" on foggy, rainy/cloudy or smoggy days.
Bottom line, dinner for 2 with wine will run 80-150k depending on your meal choices and alcohol consumption.

Not recently, about 7 months ago and as best as I can remember those were the price ranges.

Why is everything in Korea so expensive?
You want a simple European themed "wine tasting" and you end up
paying 80,000 ). The cheapest I've seen is 50,000 ( and that's in
somewhere like Iteawon)
Here a similier wine tasting would only be 15,000- 40,000 ( dinner
included)
( hell, I've seen some deals as low as 10,000 (Highlands)
Is it because they have to import it?
Oh and they are rarely have Martini hour ANYWHERE in Seoul
Does the Martini concept even exist in Korea? |

Beer Factory unlimited Beer for 6,000w from 5pm-8pm.
I can eat until I'm full for 5,000w at Korean restaurants.
Doctors visit? 6,000w. Prescription for said visit? 3,000w.
Bottle of Soju? 1,500w.
Intercontinental Hotel has unlimited food, wine, beer, and bubbly for 25,000w.
2,000w bowl of Jajangmyun
Maybe you should complain more about how Wine and Martinis, both products or ingredients that are NOT native to this country, are so expensive. Can I go to YOUR home town and complain about how much Kimchi costs and how it tastes bad? Ever have Korean BBQ in your home country? $30 a serving is about how much it goes for in the greater Metro DC area. In New York City it was about $45-$50 a serving. And don't you dare tell me that cows in New York City, or Washington DC are more expensive than in Korea. |

No, YOU can't go my home town and complain about Korean BBQ is
or Kimichi ( as it is of the same quality and price)
ok, so outside of happy hour; Martinis are expensive
Unlimited beer? You mean on draft, right?
-and just what kind of wine do you expect to get for 25,000? Imported?
Thanks for the rest of the info.
Arguement finished.. |
