or something. |

It would be nice if there was a way to "remove" a user who is particularly annoying so that there posts would never show up when browsing the site. Not remove them from the site as in banning, just have the browser not show their posts.
I think someone wrote a script to remove recruiters from the job search page, maybe something like that.
In a way avatars are good for this, when I see some certain avatars, I know to just skip on down. Still, I would love the satisfaction to click a "never show posts from this user again" button. |

Seems par for course for an internet forum to me.
Actually, with the strict rules, I think there is a lot less tomfoolery here than on other forums.
The nicest forums I've been on have always had a higher female to male ratio. I'm not sayin' nothin', I'm just sayin'. |

i'm not a rude person in person, nor am i rude on the internet. i don't have anything to prove, and no ego issues that i'm compensating for.
however, i do get rude when i'm discussing something, and the other person puts words in my mouth and then tries to correct me when they are blatantly wrong and after i let them know in a neutral way that they have their facts wrong, they become condescending. that's when i get rude, and that's why i was rude to you. nothing personal though. so, sorry if it bothered you, i got caught up in the moment. |

@Machoman:
Well,it sure as hell doesn't matter now,does it?
I don't know you from jack,but yes,some people on here know cert43's
real name; so it does seem more like a personal attack.
Plus, if things are really that that poltical in context,it just best to
discuss them in a normal healthy way ( not over an internet forum),that
just sems a little wierd and cowardly. Don't ya think?

If you're running Firefox, there's a plugin that lets you gag posters. ie: you no longer see posts that they make. There's a thread about it somewhere around here... Found it:
