So I was just wondering how EPIK will react to me having allergies to Penicillin and Amoxicillin. I should still be considered for a position right? Maybe I am just overreacting about this even being a deal-breaker? Any info or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I don't really see a need to mention it. If you're worried that you'd have a medical emergency mention it to your co-worker when you get here. I'm allergic to almost everything that comes in pill form (Ex: Aspirin) and I've never had a problem.

thanks! i already put it on my application though. Guess I'll just have to explain to them that its a pretty minor reaction and it hasn't been a problem for me since I was a kid.

Don't worry about it. When I applied to EPIK they knew about my asthma and allergies (I'm also allergic to amoxicillin) and they still accepted me (I chose GEPIK instead for unrelated reasons).

the only thing I would be careful about is make it pretty straight to your co-teacher once you get the job what and what you can not take. Korean doctors will give you fifty million pills to take for the slightest of scratches on your knee. Co-teachers (the good ones anyway) can help in this situation.
