| this happens randomly from time to time where they block certain sites. does anyone know how or why this happens? are they spying on me?? |

| Don't think so. I've been coming here from my school for three years now and it's not blocked. Though Fark.com got blocked pretty quickly after I arrived and was browsing it at work. |

| Or you can simply speak to the school's computer tech. The reason a site's popping up as blocked may be because the tech blocked a group of addresses. Explain to him what you're trying to access and he'll unblock it. |

a proxy site gives u a different ip address so that your school (or whatever institution) can't block it. i think that's how it works....
anyway, i use hidemyass.com. go there, and type in your web address in the address bar and you should be able to access it.
it's just annoying to have to use a proxy server to access the forums... |

Me too. Thanks for the hidemyass.co.go link. I got through to godaddy, but I still couldn't access my account. They were refusing my Login Name/Number and Password. Perhaps they knew I was using a proxy server?????
