Hi, I'm looking to travel, basically, whatever dates I get off.

I want to fly from Busan and have so far looked at Bali, Krabi in Thailand and also Flores and the Maldives.

Anyone been to the most perfect and secluded beach imaginable? Anyone stepped out onto powder white beach sand and gazed into the crystal clear water and felt like Tom Hanks in Cast Away?

Also, from what I can see, flights with Kangsan or Korean Air direct are cheap so I'd need a hotel with whom I can book just the hotel...

I'm looking to go for a week and would love a beach villa or similar...
My budget excluding flight money is about $2,500.

I have been told that the school will be closed from the third week of December up to lunar new year but I do have winter camp.

I like Krabi but the main beach Ao Nang isn't that great for swimming. Since you are in Busan, perhaps you could take a direct flight to Cebu, the Philippines, and check out Bohol.

Laughing Perfect and secluded like a castaway but want a villa on the beach!

I recommend Rayong province because of the enormous coastline with kilometer after kilometer of quiet serene unpopulated beaches inbetween the many resorts. That way you can pretend to be on a deserted island for a few hours then head back to the poolside bar for drinks before dinner and bed.

Many islands or coastal areas famous for beaches have several beaches, just one or two are really famous and crowded. There may be a secluded beach or two around, but it might be a) hard to reach b) bad quality sand c) bad for swimming or some other reason.

You can also check out Palau. My husband and I wanted to go there for our winter vacation but couldn't find a good flight time that would allow us enough days there. Maybe you will have better luck. You can go swimming with dolphins, and jellyfish (non poisonous) snorkeling, jungle tours, tons of different things and from what I saw the hotel rates are quite good.
If you do look into it and find a good flight, please let me know because I really want to go there!!!

Boracay, Phi Phi and Perhentian islands feature white sand and clear waters, but the seclusion may be hard to come by.

I don't know if you'll find beachside bungalows in Ishigaki, Japan, but lots of undeveloped beaches when you go island hopping. Iriomote is mostly undeveloped with a good forest hike.

Book Maldives waaaayyyy ahead of time as accommodations get filled quickly.

You CAN get seclusion on Boracay but you'll probably have to get out of White Beach.

And Palau is expensive and hard to get to.
