There is a store called Pixel, right in the Suwon Station area. They sell Apple products. Anyway, I asked the sales rep when the iPad was coming. He told me that they are coming sometime in November. He quoted me these prices:
32 GB: 899,000W (wifi only)
64 GB: 1,135,000W (wifi only)
I don't know if that is news to anyone here or not, but I thought I'd pass this along. I'm pretty sure this is accurate information.
My God these things are pricy! I'm sure there would be a cheaper way to get one if I was so inclined. I would love to have one. But version 1 of anything is usually a sucker's buy. With the Galaxy tab, HP Slate and a few others on the way, I can't imagine the iPad remaining that expensive forever. |

KT is already taking pre-orders on them, I don't think they're far off. I didn't catch what their prices were though. |

Mmmm, that's expensive, but I think that's what I was expecting. Foreign product, therefore it's a premium product and more expensive. I would like an IPAD, but will the Korean equivalents really be that much cheaper if you're just buying a wifi model? |

They better hope the next update has a Hanguel keyboard.
That's my only beef about this device. A real, built in Korean keyboard, not an app that does copy and paste. |

If you jailbreak your iPad, you can already have a real Korean keyboard. In addition, the iOS 4.2 update has built-in Korean input support. |

Really? That's great news about the 4.2 update! I hadn't noticed if it would include a Korean keyboard.
I jail broke my iPad for a bit last month but honestly had a whole host of little problems that just made it less smooth than I preferred. |
