Like the title says.
Just moved to gumi and want a scooter to get around on. 50cc prefered as I THINK it's okay to ride one without a liscence.
Will pay up to 500,000 Won. |

I have a 2 stroke 50cc scooter I'll sell for $500. Price was $750 a few years ago. I live near the Hyatt Hotel near Itaewon. It's a red Prima Rally. They're very common and easy to service.

Since 2007 you need a license for a 50cc
You may be able to get away with it if you're pulled over and you have a car license, but if not then there's a fine of about 300,000w I think it is.
I recently got my car license in Korea and was told that I need seperate scooter license for my 50cc Prima. Sucks. |

There has been talk that all bikes and scooters now need a motorbike license, regardless of size. However, I just spoke with the Seoul Global Centre, who called the licensing bureau on my behalf, and if you have a valid Korean drivers license then you can drive a scooter/bike under 125 cc.
She also told me that if there was an "A" on my license (I presume for automatic) that I had to get a bike license. I mentioned this "new" law, and she told me that it wasn't on the books. |

Yeh "A" (automatic) Korean driving license also needs a bike license. Manual is fine. But all bikes now need a license. |
