| Yea, it is that bad over here. Once in a while you actually get the opposite happening and their photo just sucks. Meeting in person is a must. Don't wait months and develop an "online romance". Not worth it. |

I wanna go out on a limb and assume it's more than just makeup there. Me assumes there's also the magic of photoshop. The old ladies are certainly the most shocking.
Some of them aren't THAT bad either. Others are just on the more plain side. 2,7,11, 13, and 18 are actually okay. I think if they didn't cake on the make-up at the beginning, it wouldn't be such a shocker. |

Yes, circle lenses and white eye-liner can only do so much. Some of the girls 'with makeup' have gigantic eyes. |

what a bunch of bs those photos are. I have a Chinese girl as a roomate and see her without makeup and all looks about the same as most Chinese girls don't put on that much makeup.
I saw a Chinese girl the other day who was 49 and looked like 30 and without much makeup on. That sight has just taking the extreme examples. |

I think you guys are kind of missing the context here.
Recently it's become an internet fad for girls to post a bunch of made-up, dolled-up, photoshop pictures of themselves on a message board. Then they say "And now, I will show you what I look like after I remove my makeup" and then post a really ugly picture to shock everyone.
This goes with a saying they have, "there is no such thing as an ugly woman, only a lazy woman." |
