|

If this is common in India, then I wouldn't be too majorly worried.
Though any Indian who was excellent at teaching and english would be more likely to seek work else where I think.
My father sent me this, it's from an instruction booklet.

I found the following instructions in a small boat I bought at a show.
Process to run a steam boat.
The steamer has two pipes in its back end. First of all fill the water with dropper in one of its pipes till the water comes in another ones out. Then put the steam boat in the water. Lit the candle wick of the spoon and place it inside the boat. The steam boat in a minute by its heat of steam, it starts to run.
The water of pipe will be shaken off then fill the water again to fast its speed.
Made in India.
How is that for an example of English?

If Indians bring family members then there likely will be more possibilities of some of them opening Indian restaurants, and more of that is a good thing. |

Laughing your butt off at the English written on Indian menus is one of the delights of travelling in India. I had some of this hilarious stuff written down - somewhere - but it's got lost in all the moves.
The really scary thing is: I'm pretty sure some Korean students would be able to read (and understand) this garbled Englishee. |

This will only happen in Itaewon.
All other 'Indian' restaurants ie curry pot etc are ran and staffed only by Koreans same same as Italian ones etc.

Why do you always write silly stuff like above?
In Daejeon alone there are at least two Indian restaurants that I know of that are ran and staffed by Indians. And if you want to eat there...you'd better call ahead and reserve a table because they are almost always full. |

Although Indian isn't my favorite kind of food... bring on the curry chicken and goat. <3 God, that stuff is delicious. |

I agree with this; I can rarely find sufficient Indian food, either in terms of quantity or quality. |

You might, but I seriously don't.
Though if english is their second language then maybe. Though as convuluted as the writing above is, it is usually only done by someone with a warped sense of humor who is trolling.

(Man, teaching in Korea is really screwing up my spelling sense and grammar. I am not using certain words enough to be 100% how they are spelt. (I mean in my country) some other countries use different spelling than mine.) |

Not if you live in any of the Gyeonggi burbs south of Seoul and get the awesomeness that is Ansan's overflow. They're all run by and staffed by Indians, with the occasional exception of wait staff. |

Dongdaemun and Dongmyo alone have at least two or three solid places, namely Everest and Namaste, and a number of other mediocre ones that blow Curry Pots out of the water. |

I hope Indians do come to Korea. Christ, this place needs more diversity. Besides, their English is more than adequate because Koreans don't want English. They want an approximation to it. Konglishee is okay. The Indians fit the bill perfectly. Let them come. The people who will suffer most are you guys that need Korea and have to stay here to pay off your loans. You might have to start accepting some pretty pisspoor salaries soon. |

No, no, no, all wrong. Koreans will never learn English from other Asians because they cannot accept that another type of Asians speak better English than they do. It would hurt their pride too much.
They will never add India to the list of "seven English speaking countries." |

This is Korea...and you never, never know. If it involves paying less money for something, the Koreans will take it every single time. Money is king here. Don't be so hasty... |
