Oh come on! Praising yourself with a sock account? How cowardly can you get? Just come out of the closet and admit you're bacasper.

Eh I think you're being a bit too serious here. Is it really a sock if it is his previous account was banned? He's just having some fun dude, chill.

Madoka, YOU will never know if I am someone just trying to imitate the ol' casper (and spell it right!), or if I really am him doing a really bad job at pretending I am not.

Clearly you have something to hide or you wouldn't be trying to be someone else.

So you're serious about this whole, 'Koreans aren't that smart because they didn't build an impassable ditch around their entire nation,' thing, eh?

Some of you guys say that you don't remember the French or Spanish or whatever you took. One of the reasons is that you don't have those classes every single day. Koreans take English classes(multiple times per day, no less) EVERY SINGLE DAY and still can't speak properly.

I don't think this is true. My students get one or two classes a week depending on grade level. Some students choose to suplement that with an English hagwon, but most don't, and the ones that do can actually speak fairly well due to the extra practice, able to articulate basic sentences with ease and complex sentences with a little effort.

If you are going to brag about how high your IQ is, then you'd better be able to back it up and if you can't learn to speak one sentence after thousands of lessons, well, I question how smart you truly are. Koreans take English classes(multiple times per day, no less) EVERY SINGLE DAY and still can't speak properly. It is absurd. But hey, keep wasting that money...

Pretty broad statements. I know HUNDREDS of korean adults who can carry on a conversation in English.

I think the main problem is that a lot of foreign English teachers in Korea base their assumptions about Korean people on limited interactions with kids and a handful of school teachers. It's worth reminding people that such a sample does not really represent the population as a whole.

Does the "sparkling" conversation also include such beauties as, "Korea has four seasons" or "isn't kimchi too spicy for you?"...just saying. Those conversations must be masterpieces. I'm sure the inherent Konglish-ee also adds to the masterful stimulation.

About the anti-invasion ditch. Okay, I think you guys misunderstand. I'm just saying...I'm just sayin'..if Koreans are so high IQ as they claim, then why the failure to think outside of the box. IQ is all about thinking outside the box. Now, I can't understand why that anti-invasion ditch couldn't have been at least 1,000 feet deep. 1,000 feet minimum. Oh, and they could have put decaying food(such as kimchi, no difference really) into the ditch to create a smell that would have nauseated even the most hearty of invaders. I would also have like to see the Koreans use a little more creativity and technology. Perhaps using Technicolor to record that magnificent 1,000 foot(remember, 1,000 at the minimum) anti-invasion ditch. If they would have done that...if they would have done that...then perhaps I would have bought the high IQ propaganda. Oh, and maybe some sharks with laser beams attached could have been thrown in amongst the muck of the ditch and helped to deter those invaders. I'm just sayin'...

Jews are pretty smart and they've just barely hung on to surviving.

IQ isn't everything. A savage willingness to inflict brutal pain on anyone, regardless of any pangs of conscience, a martial-focused culture and the desire to breed like rabbits, thereby pushing the plague of locusts like conquest mentality are also key traits for things like that. Not to mention natural resources.

And dude, you're not exactly displaying wicked intelligence with these posts.

What would you have done? Beyond lasers and a 1,000 foot ditch.

Remember the 1,000 foot ditch is only good if the person doesn't have a 1,001 foot pontoon bridge. Or a bunch of boats for an amphibious invasion.

Not to mention the number of people that would die in such an endeaver makes it inefficient.

But yes General Wishmaster, please outline your brilliant strategy to ward of the Mongol hordes.

The Jewish population has done a fairly decent job of survival. Look at the USA. Some got stuck in a bad situation back in WW2, but those who got away did very well for themselves. THIS is why education (real education--not just rote memorization) is very important to Jewish families. You can take someone's home, but you can't take their knowledge.
