|
|
I'm on line 5 right near Yeongdeungpo-gu Office station. Looks like I've gotta take line 5 from here to Gimpo, then switch to the airport railroad to get to Incheon.
Has anyone ever made a similar distance trek to the airport? Trying to figure out when I need to leave the apartment. |

According to my cell phone it'd take 56 minutes. There's a transfer, and you have to wait a bit for the AREX to arrive, so I'd add about 15-20 minutes to that to be on the safe side. |

Go in comfort using the airport limo buses. Might end up beating the subway time since you're in West Seoul. |

+1
They're so cheap and you don't need to stop every two seconds!! (On the flip side though, they suck if you're heading over in rush hour.) |

There are, or at least used to be, two different trains from Gimpo to the airport. One stops a few times, but it is much cheaper. It only adds maybe five or ten minutes to the total journey time. |

My daily subway route involves a transfer at Gimpo from Line 5 to the airport line. If you want to shave a couple of minutes off the transfer time, get on at carriage 7 or 8 at Yeongdeungpo-gu Office. Then it's straight out of the train, and down an escalator to the airport line. AREX trains leave at 06, 18, 30, 42, and 54 past usual daytime hours. |

airport limousine or even taxi if you're not to frugal. i've cabbed it from around that area and it's only 30-40,000ish and takes about 40 minutes if the traffic isn't horrid. |
