Any one using it? Actually, I'm just assuming its possible but I don't really know for sure.
If you are, do ya like it? Recommend it?
I'm contemplating of just dropping the idea of getting an Iphone 4 and going the Ipad+WiBro route... |

Originally I was considering going this route for my iPad, but the WiBro battery life is something like 2-4 hours (can't remember which end of the scale it's on), which is pretty terrible when the iPad itself can have get like 9-10 hours using 3G. The download speeds through WiBro seem pretty crappy too.
So I looked into getting 3G service here in Korea and there's a KT store that offers USIM for iPads, but you have to have a radio certification for your iPad first which currently costs 306,000 won.
I'm about to mail off my iPad to get the certificate tomorrow which should take up to 5 days. I'll see if it all works out  |

If you have an iPhone, save some money and tether your iPad to it.
I installed a program called iTether, which cost $5 from the Cydia app store, onto my iPad. No additional install was required on my iPhone. Simply open up iTether on the iPad, click connect, and it's tethered and ready to go.
Jailbroken iPad is required, but the iPhone can be factory fresh. |

| Don't have an Ipad. But I have WIBRO. It has been 6 months and I still am not enjoying it. Maybe when I get a hold of Identity Tab. Just need to know where and how to get one. I think 3G is a better approach. |

| My HTC Desire with Android 2.2 has a built-in portable wi-fi hotspot, essentially a built-in wibro. Since I already carry my phone with me and have the unlimited data plan, it's the perfect solution to connecting my iPad when there's no wifi. |

The wibro egg lasts about 5 hours. I've had one for over a year, it's great.
You can charge it on any standard cell phone charger (it attaches without an adapter) which makes it easy to plug in just about anywhere if you need it. |

Just in case anyone is interested, I mailed my iPad off Saturday and got it back today. They put a little sticker on the back and when I turn cellular access on it connects to SKTelecom. Now I just need to go the special SHOW store in Seoul to get my USIM and service. |

sweet, let us know how it works out after you get the usim put in.
It sure sounds tempting, but the 300,000 for the verification sounds disenchanting. |
