|
|
I'm a teacher who lives in Thailand and work in Korea every couple of years or so. Anyway, in Thailand there are a lot of discount ticket offers from travel agents. I can find round trip tickets from Thai to Korea for as little as 300,000KRW.
My question is, are there any discount agencies here in Korea? Where are the cheapest tickets available in Korea? |

No. In 3 years, I have never been able to match fares from other Asian destinations. |

Right...I've seen the adds in the English language newspapers. But, when I tried them the price they quoted me was always above the one they advertised in the paper!
I am looking into a couple of agencies based in Thai that said they could do tickets for me in Korea. I'll keep you posted. |

My girlfriend found a place in Busan last year called Kangsan Travel that sold one-way tickets to Bali for 300,000. |

It's actually in Haeundae, in the same building as the Indian restaurant and Starbucks. |

Long time indeed - probably since about last year at this time. Check out where I've been in the meantime. |

Oh, you know, surfing and the occasional tutoring session. The money's not really there, but when you consider the quality of life in Brazil as opposed to Korea ... too bad I can barely make my student loan payments this way. This is my favorite country in the world. |

Agreed! Best country in the world.
Agreed about the money. I accumulated a lot more debt just from trying to make ends meet. But it was 1997-1998 when the Brazilian real was pegged to the US Dollar.
Now I understand its something like 2.5 Real to the US Dollar. Money goes MUCH further.. but then again you make MUCH less if paying debt off at home.
I still dream of going back to Brazil. |

Usually the ad's you see in the papers are for round trip. Why is 660 cheap? I'm looking to go home for a vacation. Tryingto get a RT ticket - Seoul-Bangkok...for 300,000KRW. Any help is most welcome! Where are those discount agencies? |
