I was impressed by some of the salaries locals make.

Sure wish I were on 6-8 million, which came up quite a bit on the other thread.

How about your missuses? Do many people have lasses why pull in more than you, or did you meet her serving hot dogs at the 7-11?

I dated a couple of nurses. I don't think nurses in Korea make very much money. And they work terrible hours, too.

My missus earns a fair bit pulling hot dogs at the 7-11, but makes far more after 2am around the corner.

I'm amazed that if they did, they'd even know for sure. I've definitely had my suspicions about a girl I've dated and another girl a friend has dated. No one comes out and says it though!

HAHAHA! my gf only made 1.5mil a month when she was living in Seoul! yet she worked way too many hours (who Finishes work at 10pm on a week day?) as an interior designer using Autocad. She is only 21 and says young people in Korea take jobs to put on their resume after study and not for the money.... what ever that means. I guess they don't have much choice considering they can't really use their degrees to leave the country and get a job else where...WHY you ask? Cause no1 speaks Korean thats why! HAHAHA employers pay minimum as too many Koreans study for 'so-called' better career choices and the system is flooded. My gf is here in Australia atm as many other Korean graduates are working on farms (instead of using their Master Degrees in Engineering) for 3-6mths and they earn US $1000-$2000 a WEEK!.She is a small skinny girl and gets on average $1200 so thats 5,280,000 WON a month..so stop turning hotdogs at 7-11 and come to Australia for 1 year, Study english here and put that on your stupid resume!

If you think for a second working on a farm in Oz looks good on a Korean's resume...

Oh and I'd report the tos violation as I don't like to read that sort of language whilst I'm having my afternoon tea but I think it's againt the tos to report tos violations or something.

There are free english classes here and you would learn it a lot quicker, and then put english study on your resume. Knowing fluent english in Korea helps with nearly any higher up jobs.

Sorry Hotwire Smile I must have accidently typed that language on this forum. It was intended for an email I was sending to Council. So I am deeply sorry and hope you can still enjoy your afternoon tea
