So i'm going to Seoul this weekend. It's my first time there and I'm going mainly to a). adopt a little furry friend b)explore c)check out a potential city I would want to move to.

Cities I'm considering are:
Itaewon
Gangnam
Sinchon
Dongdaemun or Hangdae? (not sure about these)

any thoughts?? cool places to visit? Not really down for touristy/monumental stuff. Just cafes/shops....that sorta thing.

Thanks!

I guess if you have never been to Seoul before, that list is okay.

But you'd hardly know which part is "the best" until you spend some time exploring, more than 1 or 2 days.

I'd say if it's your first visit, Itaewon & Dongdaemun are good day visits and Hongdae is good at night if you want to party/drink.

I also highly recommend people-watching in Hyehwa & Apgujeong.

I'd say everything in Korea basically radiates outward from Itaewon.
So, go there first. And if you don't make it out until it's time to go
home. Oh, well.

Must do: Breakfast at Suji's Deli
