|
|
I realize it's still a long way off, but I'm looking at going to Europe next summer if I can find a reasonable airfare. I've never been to Europe before so I'd like to make it work but I know the flights are quite expensive from Seoul in the summer.
I'm looking at France, Italy or any of the Scandinavian countries. I know to check expedia/travelocity etc. and the European airlines' websites. I'm also going to check out the Middle Eastern Airlines as it appears they have some okay prices sometimes.
However, I figure some of you with more European experience than I might have some tips that I'm unaware of. I'll only have 10 days total so I don't want to spend too much time getting there and back, but I'd appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks |

Expect to pay between 1mil - 1.2mil to fly from Korea to any major Western European City.
Even off season it costs me 1.2mil to get to London by return trip. |

You might be able to get something a bit cheaper than what Hotwire is saying if you rout through KL and get one of Air Asia's cheap flights to Gatwick. |

In Summer 2009 I scored an end of August flight to Amsterdam from Busan to Amsterdam for 700 000 Won with a transfer in Tokyo using JAL. Got that through Kangsan Travel. I guess I hit it at the right time or something. |

Wow, a real bargain!
It could be I get overcharged because out of laziness I just go to expedia.com and see waht's availabel on there for cheapest price and then I call Xanadu in Itaewon let them know the flight I saw and see if they can match the price or get cheaper.
That is a deal though I mean late Aug I've paid 600,000 plus taxes to get to Bangkok from Korea and never less than around 450,000 all inc to Japan. |

7-800,000 with aeroflot if you get in early.
Food is good, planes are average to bad, (no entertainment system) and you have to pay for alcohol.
Finnair has some good cheap flights |

Air China flights can also come in around 800 000 Won but they sell off pretty quick. Those are some nice planes. |
