I haven't been on this site for long - but what is with this myth guy and his friends captain corporeal, madoka, sam-d and steelrails?

I have a vison of some underground anti propaganda bunker with these 5 Korean Americans huddled ovcer old soviet era laptops all day on the look out for anything ever so slightly not praising the motherland... If they manage to dispute 10million posts each - they will one day be accepted as a real Korean and also get one over on those white guys in America that made fun of them for being nerds or whatever....

The really, really scary thing is that some of those guys are probably NOT Korean. THAT is the scary part. A non-Korean defending a culture/people that views them as 2nd class citizens...now that is sick.

Google is your friend(and only one at that, I'm sure)...there is a reason that Japan and Korea are leaders in stomach cancer and that is because of that nasty stuff that they have 3 or more times a day. Kimchi is bad for people, but I encourage you to eat as much as possible.

I remember reading a report by a Korean scientist that drew links between stomache cancer and the ingestion of high quantities of kimchi and soybean paste. I don't have a link anymore, but someone can probably find it on the web if they're really interested.

And you totally missed the joke...

To make it clear I was saying Kimchi is going to probably give me colon cancer and not stomach cancer because it causes me to have the runs. The soju will give me stomach cancer.

Come on now lets get our science in order here.

If they're a store, they have inventory coming in all the time. They have to purchase new kimchi, so they price the stored kimchi at the going market rate. Its not gouging, its standard inventory practice.

You are unreal.

I am Korean American myself and did not grow up having 'white guys calling me a nerd.'

I find your post very offensive and borderline racist.

Why assume anyone defending or aplogising for korea is a gyopo?

And why assume all gyopos are defensive of korea and long to be accepted as a Korean when a lot of us who grew up in the USA naturally identify as Americans?

that particular post did sound a little racist. But, I think things like that on msg boards should be taken with a grain of salt.

I wouldn't necessarily assume the 'apologists' (if you wanted to refer to them as that) are korean.

That being said, I wouldn't expect Mr. Lee to subject himself to anything but the finest world quality napa cabbage. 'Lia!!!! teacha. Lia!!'

If I was only exposed to salted peanuts my whole life and they were praised as a nectar of the gods........why would I even suspect that walnuts, macadamians, brasil nuts, pecans or others could even match
up to the status of my beloved nut. Be gone with your poisonous almonds!!!
