See this is what I am talking about. Are you on crack? The playstation motion retails for approximately $75 or approximately 85,000 won. The Playstation Slim 120GB model sells on auction for 333,000 for a total of 418,000 won, new. This guy thinks a reasonable offer on a used system is 490,000 won.
Did working in Korea give you brain damage? |

And the link to this magical $75 motion bundle is where? I bought the motion bundle for $100 plus shipping off Amazon, then I had to pay a duty. Bestbuy sells the motion bundle for $99 plus tax.
Are the PS3s on aucton Korea, U.S systems? I have heard there is some difficulty setting up the PSN on a Korean system, making the U.S version more valuable. So 300 000 plus the motion is 430 000 or so...plus two games 40 000 and thats with a discount since most games are selling on here for 30 000...and 30 000 for a headset (oh wait thats 500 000).
Go and buy on auction korea or at Yongsan and stop trying to lowball people on Daves...Are you afraid to bargain in person at Yongsan? |

Can anyone confirm this? I haven't heard any such thing. I know all the games are Region Free.
Also, lovinkorea is you PS3 fat or slim? What is the size of your HDD? |

its not the games, if you look around online people have difficulty getting a PSN account because it requires a Korean id...(I am not 100% as I dont have one) but the North American one you can make an account based on your U.S address.
I bought the 120Gb slim when it came out last summer
I am not positive but many people I have talked to in Korea have told me this |

490,000 is still high for a used system without any sort of warranty. At that price you'd be better off buying it new and then at least having a full warranty on it.
It cracks me up when people knock only 10-15% off what they paid when selling used electronics.....I think that closer to 50% is generally a more reasonable figure. |

IMO I'd meet you guys in the middle and say a 30% discount would be reasonable on lightly used electronics under 2 years old.
So 333K for a new PS3 plus 110K (on gmarket) for a motion bundle would be:
310K + neg for games and 'headset'
That's what I'd pay if you lived in Busan and I wanted the motion bundle. |
