If you are willing to engage in sexual activity with them, you should be comfortable enough to share this info with them.

Re girlfriends: many women share much in common with Mary Tyler Moore in that "if you don't know what's wrong" we "certainly aren't going to tell you." Next time, I would ask if she would like anything (maybe even insist you bring over some chocolate icecream) and if she say's yes, it's what she really wanted. Spend a couple hours curled up watching a movie and rub her belly.

Alternatively, maybe when you've had a rough day, she can spot you a pizza, a few beers, and a foot rub.

PS. I consider myself a "hardcore" feminist and even minored in Gender Studies. I've never met a "man-hating" feminist in my life. :/

Femanism to me is the statement made by my lecturer at Uni when I stated that Femanism is about equality between the sexes.

She said that "femanism is not about women being treated equally, its about women having greater rights than men and only when women have greater rights than men will they truly be equal".

She was pretty hard core in the feminism issue. She also thought that husbands/boyfriends should pay thier partners if they wanted to have sex.

I could never understand how she couldn't understand that was basically calling women prostitutes.

Ummm....These women aren't feminists. They are just crazy.

Calling every feminist a lesbian nazi is the same as calling every man a rapist because he has a *beep*. Seriously, what women have some of you guys been hanging out with?

There is a big difference between being a feminist and being a crazy bitch.

And, even though I am western I am not one of those die-hard uber feminist types...Those women ruin it for the rest of us girls. I'm just speechless right now. About most of this paragraph really.

Agreed. This person is delusional.

Also, OP.....your GF is clearly a whiny attention-needing child. If I had cramps, I wouldn't even feel the need to mention it, let alone demand someone dance attendance upon me. Ridiculous.

Agreed. I'm a feminist, and I have no problem with a man being polite and holding a door for me. I will smile and say thank you. If I happen to reach the door first, I will then reciprocate. Any woman who complains about such trivialities is clearly an idiot.

Although, I have to say, I hear this example so often, the 'I held a door and got yelled at feminists ruined my life wah' so often that I wonder at its' veracity. When I did my MA I did a Specialization in Women's Studies (which should be re-named Gender Studies, in my opinion) and I have never met a feminist who would ever behave in such a way.

From the medical standpoint, the answer is obvious, assuming she didn't just eat and then hop in the swimming pool.

Give her what she wants, if you catch my drift.

1. She is Korean, right?

2. Do you get reciprocated? I'm not talking about sex, either.

You should have rubbed her belly like in the K Drama "Personal Taste" where she probably got the idea from that you should comfort her.

But then again I'd probably just say "welp, too bad!" and keep on doing what I was doing before.

anyways, i wanted to know some of the females perspective on the board...

Offer to come over or ask if she needs anything. If she is feeling really crappy, she won't actually won't you to come over (unless it's just to cuddle up to you) but you will still get the credit for being WILLING to do something for her.

If she starts making all kinds of demands, then maybe you might reconsider being around "28 Days Later."

Now I understand the title of that movie.....

Diddo.

I've met some man-haters, but they were definately not feminists. Mostly they were more traditional women who were wronged by men and couldn't stand up on their own feet and decided just to blame men for anything. But that's just my own experiences. There's all types about.
