There is a woman in Itaewon that does it at her home. I 've never been to her but my friend would go to her but it cost alot in my opinion just for eyebrows...I think it was around 16,000 won. I can ask her more about it later if you want me to |

Oh yes, please do. I thought that I could get them down on vacation, but they-re not grown out enough. 16,000 isn-t that bad. I paid $15 near my mom-s house. But I miss getting them done for $2 back home
If you have her address or email, that would be great. |

Could you ask whether she does the upper lip too?
Thanks! |

At this rate, I might have to brave myself to ask the Indian proprietors of restaurants or the foreign food market what the Indian ladies do.
At least, being non-Koreans, they'll still be in Itaewon during Chuseok! |

Hm, now there's an idea. I got mine done in Singapore, and am trying to keep the shape, but just learned that i'll be going home to Peru in the winter for a month, so I can get them done there. |

Hello,
I get it done at a sauna not far from me. It's called shil-myeon-doe. Pop in and ask if there is a shil-myeon-doe ajumma/un-ni at the counter or if you frequent one, she has a mat and lamp on the floor. Or ask a co-t at school who does it in the area. Big saunas will almost always have one I've found.
She'll do the whole face and like any grooming professional I've met, it takes a couple of visits to get it done the way you want. I took a friend the first time to make sure I came out with eyebrows left. I find the method harsher on my skin than home but I have very sensitive skin. I use tea-tree oil immediately after to avoid a breakout.
No, it's not the same as home in my opinion but it's good enough for me and it saves me the trek into Itaewon. I don't use the facilities and I don't change my clothes. I just go in, get it done and go. It costs 5,000 for the threading and the lady at the counter charges me 5,000 to go in. |

You're going to look a bit odd having your eyebrow and lip threaded together. You might have a bit of trouble smiling. And eating. |

Tell her you just want to try it and you'll do your whole face next time. Or try another sauna. Ask around for saunas that do it.
The woman I use thinks I'm strange for only doing my brows but she does them.
Good luck! |
