welcome. ive never done this before so please precedent anythings.

im not new to the language but i dont speak it. im also a young adult.

i'd like to take a beginner korean class, participate in clubs or groups, extra curricular activities, go out and have things to do. All with knowing i cant speak basic korean in mind, so a korean english speaking culture is necessary. any suggestions?

are there any korean search engines out there with english translation?
how about forums? any good korean american forums or message boards? where would you look?

what cities would you recommend vs. district? hopefully something eco/architectural ie best places to live

what other things should i be looking for?

Your title doesn't make sense.

Your first sentence doesn't make sense.

In the second sentence, it is unclear as to exactly what language you are making reference to.

Asking for insights and opinions is a great way to move forward, so if you want input, my input is that you think about what you write before you write it and ask any questions in a clear, easy to understand way.

OP, disregard the bad manners of some on here. Their posts are usually about them than anything else.

The quick and easy answer are the major cities, specifically Seoul and Busan at the top of the list. Both cities have district(s) that would probably serve your needs. Deagu and Daejeon are large cities of size that may suit you as well.

I don't know of any korean sites with english translation. Are you in Korea? Or making enquiries in anticipation of a possible move?

There are many groups about special interests within Korea.
One suggestion is to join some of the many groups on facebook.
There are groups about Korea and cities and interests within Korea.
There are also other websites which contain groups of various interests within Korea such as couchsurfing.

Your search for extracurricular activities implies you are a student.
Maybe you would be interested in an area surrounding a university with a large percentage of international students.

Inha University has a Korean Language program and they give full tuition scholarship for qualifying foreign students.
There may be other similar programs, but this is one I know of.

One point: about your use of abbreviations, your use of ie. is correct, but you seem to use vs. when you should be using a word such as regarding, or similar word.
