I find speedtest to be slightly unreliable. For a long time their Korean server had disappeared.

For me they also only give me about 1/3-1/2 the speed that I have.

http://speed.nia.or.kr/
This is a Korean one, needs to be run in IE but I find it gives more consistent results.

I keep seeing people say to use this site but I have yet to find a computer it works on. It just crashes my browser regardless of what PC I'm on.

I've used it on 2 different machines and it's worked fine. do you have issues on other korean sites?

worked for me, gave a slightly slower down speed but a much higher up speed

A lot of the time the lower speeds can be because of the wireless router you have them on etc. The best way to tell is by plugging the RJ45 right into the computer. I often get 98 down 50 up on SK. Not tonight though, I can barely send a one meg file. Dunno whats happening with Hanaro tonight.

Nope, never had any problems on other korean sites. I've tried it on my home laptop, my netbook, and 4 different pc's at the school I work at and all of them just crash IE.
