I dont think I would say 50% is reasonable for year old electronics. It depends on what it is and what the norms are. I have yet to see someone sell decent electronics for half the price... Macbooks from 2008 are still being sold for more than half the price, Ipod touches are the same and dont get me started on the Ipad.
if someone is willing to pay the price I guess it must be reasonable...I will not sell a PS3 for the same price as a used OLD generation ipod touch.
Like it has been stated over and over on Dave's sellers will lower prices if no one buys, if some people want a really good deal they will be waiting a while. A good thing to remember is that people are not businesses they value their property differently.
I believe a lot of people complain about prices and bring up other info for their own benefit, they want to drive the price down by complaining. People that bring up slight price differentials are not vigilantes for consumer justice, they are out to screw people over.. Spend your time fighting the companies that sell the products for ridiculous prices in the first place...Go contact Apple |

Sounds fair.
I only want the PS3 so at 30% that's 233,100 won.
I assume your system is a PS3 slim 120GB? |

It depends....if you're only talking about a single piece of hardware, then sure, 50% off might be too much....but often people on here are selling a system with 10 games and now want to figure in the $500 they paid for the games into the price, as well as another $100 for this, that, or the other accessory.
The bottom line is that asking over $500 for a used video game system with a few games is unreasonable if one is actually interested in selling. |

Can anyone confirm this? I haven't heard any such thing. I know all the games are Region Free.
Also, lovinkorea is you PS3 fat or slim? What is the size of your HDD? |
I bought a used, Korean PS3 from Yongsan in May and had absolutely no problems at all setting up a PSN account.
Person trying to sell for 490, I agree with the OP, you are tripping. |

I paid 380 with controller and hdmi cable.
But I was specifically after the first version of the PS3 that could run ps2 discs and there was only one place that had one.
I wanted it there and then too. If you hang around craigslist eventually someone will be ready to sell quickly. |

If your intrested I'm selling my original US ps3(20g hdd) for 235,000.
comes with its original box and one wireless controller.
The good thing about this ps3 is that its fully backwards compatable so you can play any Playstation 1, 2, or 3 game on it. if your intrested send me an email [email protected] |

I find it funny that you are complaining about my price, when you paid 380 for an old system, a controller and a cord... is the controller the one that is supposed to come with the system...Everyone is talking about discounts for used electronics, the backwards compatible ones are the first generation PS3..Mine was bought within the last year brand new, so for 300 000 I dont see how you can make a comparison to what you bought.
Although the backward compatibility is a great feature it does not make it worth more money, by having that feature it must be what 3 years old? |

See this is what I am talking about. Are you on crack? The playstation motion retails for approximately $75 or approximately 85,000 won. The Playstation Slim 120GB model sells on auction for 333,000 for a total of 418,000 won, new. This guy thinks a reasonable offer on a used system is 490,000 won.
Did working in Korea give you brain damage? |
I think most of us were brain damaged before coming to Korea.
We shouldn't blame the country for the defects of its English-speaking immigrants. |
