You bought a TV from America? You're lucky to get the 600k offer above, TVs are cheap here. |

Really? Are you sure about that? Because I just went to Danawa.com and Amazon.com respectively. Here's a couple links for you:
http://www.amazon.com/LG-32LD350-32-Inch-720p-HDTV/dp/B0039RNGNY/ref=lh_ni_t_t5
http://search.danawa.com/dsearch.php?tab=Main&k1=32LD350&module=goods&act=dispMain&x=0&y=0
The same TV, with the same model number, is $341 on the American Amazon website. And how much is it on Danawa - an aggregate of pretty much all the electronics vendors in Korea? 639k-almost 800k.
Mind you, this is not exhaustive. I typed in "LG, HD TV" into Amazon and took the first thing that came up and then searched the model number on Danawa. However, in my experience, this is the rule, not the exception (coming from someone who bought a nice huge TV in Korea just a few months ago).
So, my point? TVs are NOT cheaper here, nor are most electronics. I'm a geek, I know this - and its why I buy most of my electronics from the US during my yearly trips home. |

The post by recklesscognition1 saying that TVs are cheaper in Korea than in the US will be recognized as nonsense by anyone who has shopped in both places. I just priced a Samsung here and in the US. Here 1,390,000 won -- there $835. (about 940,000 won) tax and delivery included.
Since he is selling a slightly smaller LG LCD TV on this site, I would suspect he has a motive for lying. |

I bought my 50' X-Canvas last year for 685,000 won at the IPark in Yongsan last summer.
Selling a tv from America for more than 600 is ridiculous. If it breaks, no repair shop or company will take it to repair it. Trust me, it happened to me before.
If you're trying to get rid of it, sell it for a more reasonable price that won't have the buyer regretting it when it needs repairs later. |
